Everything we get asked at the shop — what each film does, how they compare, how long they last, and what we stand behind.

Film Types & Differences

Carbon film uses dyed carbon particles to block UV light and add privacy with a deep matte black look. Ceramic film uses nano-ceramic particles that reject infrared heat at a much higher rate while staying optically clear. Carbon is great for daily drivers on a budget; ceramic is the premium choice for maximum cabin cooling and clarity.

Essential Carbon is our entry-level color-stable carbon film. It blocks 99% of UV rays, rejects up to 59% of infrared heat, reduces glare, and gives your vehicle a clean, deep-black aesthetic. Available 5–50% VLT — up to 12° cooler cabin.

Premium Carbon steps up to advanced color-stable carbon with enhanced solar energy rejection — up to 77% IR rejection and 99% UV block. Same deep matte charcoal finish as Essential, crisper optical clarity, zero signal interference, and up to 16° cooler cabin.

Ultimate Ceramic is our flagship nano-ceramic film. It rejects up to 88% of infrared heat — the heat you actually feel — and blocks 99% of UV while maintaining ultra-HD clarity from the inside. Available 5–70% VLT — up to 20° cooler cabin.

Performance & Heat Rejection

Essential Carbon rejects up to 59% of infrared heat. Premium Carbon steps that up to 77%. Ultimate Ceramic leads the pack, reflecting up to 88% of infrared heat before it ever enters your vehicle.

Yes. Untinted glass lets most infrared heat straight through. Our films act as a thermal barrier — especially the ceramic layer in Ultimate. In desert testing, vehicles with Ultimate Ceramic run 20–25°F cooler inside after sitting in direct sun.

No. Darkness (VLT) controls privacy and glare, but heat rejection depends on the film technology. A light ceramic film can reject far more infrared heat than a dark carbon film. That is why Ultimate ceramic outperforms darker, lower-quality films on every metric.

All three tiers block 99% of harmful UV-A and UV-B rays. That protects your skin on long drives and prevents your dashboard, seats, and trim from fading or cracking over time.

Appearance & Visibility

All three tiers are available in a range of VLT (visible light transmission) levels — from nearly clear to deep limo-style shade. We will help you pick the right balance of privacy, style, and visibility based on your preference and local limits.

Yes. All of our films are optically clear by design. Ceramic films especially maintain high-definition visibility in low light. We never install tint so dark that it compromises safe nighttime driving.

No. All of our films are color-stable by design. The carbon and ceramic particles are UV-stable and will not turn purple, bubble, or degrade like cheap dyed films. Essential Carbon carries a 2-year warranty; Premium Carbon and Ultimate Ceramic carry lifetime warranties.

Our carbon and ceramic films are completely non-metallic, so they do not interfere with GPS, AM/FM, satellite radio, Bluetooth, cellular signals, keyless entry, or toll transponders.

Warranty, Care & Scheduling

Essential Carbon carries a 2-year warranty that covers both the film (fading, delamination, bubbling, cracking) and the install (peeling, edge lifting, adhesive failure). Premium Carbon and Ultimate Ceramic both carry a lifetime warranty covering the same film defects plus a lifetime install warranty. All warranties are honored in-shop.

Most full-vehicle installs take 3 to 5 hours depending on vehicle size, window count, and film selection. We work by appointment only so you are never waiting in a lobby.

Wait one week after installation, then use a soft microfiber towel and ammonia-free glass cleaner. Ammonia attacks the adhesive layer over time. Avoid abrasive pads and scrapers. We include a care card with every install.

We are located at 1322 Bench Rd, Fallon, NV 89406. Our shop hours are 7 days a week, 8 AM to 6 PM. We are appointment only — no walk-ins.
